I've got a friend looking for a good running 3800SC swapped Fiero (Page 1/3)

I took my friend for a ride in my 3800SC fiero, and now he is interested picking one up for himself. The main selling point would be a good running clean swap. Interior and exterior cosmetics are secondary. Let me know what you've got. We are in NW Indiana, but interested in seeing anything that's out there for sale.

What is his budget? I know of two show quality 3800s/c cars that can be up for sale if the price is right.

His budget is right around 5k currently he might have to wait until he has more funds available, but I thought it was worth seeing what's out there and get an idea. 5k might be a little on the low side but it's hard to say. It seems like the price range on swap cars is all over the place. Everyone has a different value for their own car, but on the other hand they are only worth what someone willing to pay.

Not going to be in the market for a show quality car, he's wanting it as a daily to have fun with for a while. Has to be a solid running car though, not looking for a mechanical project or unfinished swap.

Hmmm that is what I paid for mine and have invested at least an additional $2000 into it. Hmmm wife keeps telling me to sell it and lease a new car. Hmmm. I must say the 3800SC automatic is a great stress relief. Mine spent most of its life in KY & IN. Olejoedad ( Two Seat Garage ) replaced the intake gaskets with the improved Fel Pro metal gaskets.

I'm considering selling my 84 Indy 3800SC Auto. 70ish k miles, clean, and rust free. $5,500 Firm.
Looking for a car I won't feel bad modifying more then has been already.

Yeah my friend is kind if torn between buying something new with a warranty that he won't have to worry about for a long time except being stuck with a payment versus something he can pay cash for but potentially having expensive repairs at some point.
