Hey Cliff, I have a trailer hitch that you can have for free... just need you to pay for shipping.
It's the one my daughter took off her 85 Fiero in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZCQOB70E8E
It bolts to the rear bumper, behind the bumper panel, and sticks out and below the bumper and license plate. Let me know if you want it.
It's a class-5 hitch.

You know, if we can get one of these to a metal fab guy he can make them all for us, I just happen to know a guy....
Especially the hidden hitch. Pics aren't available in the thread anymore.
I want to get a few trailers with the GT nose and taillights made!!!!!!!!!!!
Found asome pics of a hidden hitch. The one i recall was on a green GT and the plate flipped down to expose the hitch receiver.

The hidden rear trailer hitch may look nice but is a motor vehicle violation that is easy to notice and one you will easily be stopped for. If the license plate doesn't show and if you choose to drive this way the laws in all states and Canada view this as illegal. You will face a steep fine here in NJ ($100+ court costs) and possibly a larger fine in Canada and in Europe. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. I did not notice your post. Thanks Todd but a good friend of mine is a Navy welder / instructor. He would do what you have for free with existing scrap metal.

Good to know but it would hardly ever be used. If a trailer was being pulled with a regular hitch, the vehicle license plate would not be easy to notice.
