As mentioned many times in this thread, I will not under any circumstances reproduce the small VIN code stickers. No matter how any ones asks, downplays the risks ect. It is simply for legal reasons, and I will not now, or in the future create the VIN sticker.

I am not trying to be be rude or dismissive, it is just not in any way worth the risk to myself or anyone that would intend on using the stickers.

Does removing a VIN number violate federal law?
It is a federal crime to:

  • remove
  • obliterate
  • tamper with
  • alter
  • recreate

a vehicle’s VIN number.

The law also forbids removing or tampering with identifying decals or stickers. It also forbids covering those decals or stickers to hide them.

Is there any sort of waiting list to join? Or as you make them, it will be first come first serve?

I would also be interested in a set if you start making them again. Thanks!

I guess XxdjxX89 wasn't that interested in a reproduction RPO after all!

I just started selling sticker sets again, and I have a very limited supply available.

I also am doing the RPO sheets as well.

Here is an RPO I just did this morning. I use the photo of the original as a background layer to PRECISELY line things up. The new lettering is on top of every letter in the left image. They line up well enough that the lettering on the original, with the new lettering overlayed, makes it just look like bold text.

Note the "82D" on the bottom line. That is a discrepancy from the factory, as they manually type set the lettering back in the day. I replicated that "blemish" by lining my font on top in the same way.
In this case, the person that ordered this, changed many of the RPO codes and added a couple, so you see kinda of a double vision in many places.

As precise as I make them, it is not possible to get 100% accuracy from a photo. The camera is on a angle sometimes and not dead on. The lens of the camera can fisheye the outer edge of the photo, and finally , it is a photo of an original that is stuck to a fender well with convex curve further distorting the image.

Head over the FieroDecals.com if you are interested.

Out of curiosity, did you do anything with the l67 belt routing? I'd love a custom belt/emissions routing sticker for my swap

edit: I got bored and drew up a rough sketch of my own, any chance you could do something with this? (slightly crudely put together)

I like this thank you very much for putting this together

I vaguely remembered someone doin this and sending it to me, but I couldnt find it anywherer! I could fairly easily make a sticker out of this is you are interested. I could do it for $6. That is mostly for materials, a little bit of time and shipping is included.

If you ever want to hand this off, I work at a company that just does this all day. I started looking into how hard it would be to set up everything for this and didn't really get anywhere. Id happily buy the files off of you so when you don't want to do this anymore, it can still be available.

I will save your information, but for now I have no interest in selling or turning anything over. Times do change, and I do have a plan currently in place for all of my projects if something unforseen were to happen.
