While Woody's intention may be harmless I agree it didn't come over well, and Joe, you handled it like a real gentleman, many cudos to you. I have been looking into new pumps/senders for a while now and possibly a tank. I looked at a unit from a Cadillac Deville and it measured 12" in length, do we have that amount in our standard tanks? Of course, the flange would have to be changed but it wouldn't be too difficult.

I'm sorry guys and gals, I have been away from this forum for quite some time now. Nothing negative, just other priorities in life. As such, I haven't gotten or responded to any of your PMs and I apologize for that. Luckily the only PMs I have gotten were inquiries as I pride myself on being available to my customers even long after the sale for any questions or concerns they have.

At this point, I am still planning on continuing offering these tanks for sale, however, with my priorities right now its going to take a much better system of organization on my part to ensure these tank orders are handled as carefully as I like. Tony builds these at his marine tank business which makes time estimating and such very difficult as all of his tanks are custom built. I have also learned that he tends to underestimate completion times so many tanks we have made have gone over the promise time I have communicated to the customer at the time of sale. Im sure its not malpractice on his part, like any business that makes custom products things can fall behind and quickly if you're not careful.

That being said, I am not able to take any orders at this moment. In the past I have spent way too much of my time on each tank sale (because I am meticulous in detail and try to keep constant communication) which I don't have the luxury of right now. It's not a money issue, I have said it before here that I make very little if anything on these tanks but even if I jacked up the price to make a good bit on them, I still have to FIND the time plus I'm not in this to make money - I could never sustain myself on these alone nor would I want to try. I simply enjoy offering these to the Fiero community knowing that I might help keep a few Fieros out of the junkyard. I know we're a cheap bunch heck I am myself, its not a knock on the Fiero community, just shows that we're frugal. The price point itself is set so that at least Tony makes what he needs for his materials and labor while being affordable to more than a few Fiero owners.

I will reply to the last few months' worth of PM's I missed and again I apologize for being away. I can't promise that I will be here more often but when the time comes that I am ready to offer these again (which I do intend to happen) I will let you all know.

Thanks for the support and interest in my product.

-Joe
