I am really close. The mistake I made was, when I did the programming, I put it in with my 14 ga orders instead of my 18 ga orders. From the interior pictures you can see that I have a stock shifter panel sitting on it. I will get pics tomorrow of the stock surround and the stainless surround side by side so you can get a better comparison. The 14 ga is way to heavy and the 18 ga I can get a better rounded edge all the way around.
The car that it is in, is my son's. However, since he has to drive 15 miles to school everyday and this car has a mind of its own I have been driving it. His surround was completely shot and was driving me crazy. It looks a lot nicer now.

Had comparison requests on the shifter surround. Here they are.

As you can see I am a little off on the inner cut however I have this corrected.

And if anyone is interested my daughter never used these:

Hi everyone,

My first thread on these has slipped into oblivion. So let's start over. First the vents:

(Daneele When you get pictures I would love to post one here along with Tyler's Dream I did for Jay.)

How about a club logo?

Just the standard Fiero logo runs $50.00. If you want something that I have to convert from a photo or other logo (see Betty Boop) pricing will vary. I have been doing one set of each notchback and fastback for the 3 shows I attend (Dells, Heartland, and Fierorama)

Next the badges:

These will run $15.00 ea

I can vary the size the one pictured is 3 3/8" tall

The key chains:These run $7.00 ea with a "brush finish" $5.00 to polish.

And when I get too many key chains I make wind chimes out of them: (note the show keychains)

The Pontiac Fiero "disc" runs $16.00 Key chains not included

Special rockers (look below the door):

Need a better rear bumper Pontiac to replace the bad plastic ones?:

$6.00 ea. Does not include body tape to adhere them to the bumper. The 3M double face body tape works really good.

Project I am working on:

and yes I have been working on the fastback for over a year. This one is driving me crazy, but I think I can get something acceptable.

Sometimes I just get crazy: This thing is 59" wide x 60 something tall

Special run:

I can do show or special occasions PM me to work things out.

Now for the bad news. I just became a grandpa this week, our beautiful grand daughter will take priority over me getting things done. So if I don't get back to anyone right away be patient and you may have to gently remind me on some occasions.

Thought I'd just throw this out there for anyone contemplating the stainless surround set offered on this post, as an additional consideration.

The attached photos are of a recently acquired dash map pocket stainless replacement plate provided by Rich. It seems to work well in conjuction with the stainless dash / console pieces already obtained from him. It adds continuity to the entire dash. (although it does diminish that useful storage area)

Plate is mounted on 1/4" foamcore board with a recess removed from behind the cut-out letters, to allow clearance for a small stainless plate and (2) 4" LED strips.

The attached stainless Pegasus is Richs' 2.5" version.

The raised "GT" emblem is from the exterior of a Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix

The white at the top is untrimmed foamcore which will be removed before final fitting.
Although it does'nt show well in the photos, ( do to its' slanted setting to temporarily keep it in place). the fit is excellent!
(To cold for proper mounting)

Thanks again Rich, for an awesome job!

Now that I look at this I think that a pocket could be formed and be very durable for a map pocket. My only problem right now is I am getting tired of looking at stainless. Anybody have any ideas on wrapping the interior parts with vinyl, leather, or cloth? I have a nice shifter surround that should be covered. And I think that the whole center console could be formed quite easily, but it needs covering with something. Let me hear your 2 cents.

First off, everything looks great! Once I get my '88 mechanically sound (within 2 weeks) I'll be ordering multiple items from you.

A thought about the center console/shift surround that you're working on.

Have you considered making the surround and the top trim surround all one piece? It could go over the original plastic surround to keep the placement of the window.mirror switches and the ash trays.. People could then just get it painted or powder coated instead of having to worry about re-covering it with leather... Just a thought.

Also, with the dash trim pieces, is there a way to make it so the screws would be counter sunk like the original plastic parts?

I think a tightly rapped leather or vinyl to match the OEM one would be best.

Also, there are some that like the carbon look. Di-Noc is a very forgiving and good looking material that could EASILY wrap around the console.

OOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Another product Idea!!!!!! Sorry to poast so many times, I'm hyped up on Mountain Dew waiting for the New year to ring in. lol

What about a new center console skeleton? or repair parts?

All four fiero's that I have owned/own have had broken plastic center console skeletons... Specifically, where the stereo and a/c control panel mount. I'm tired of trying to move the knob from hot to cold and vise versa and having the entire panel slide side to side since I can no longer bolt in place.... ..... ..... .....

I don't know how feasible this is, but I know that I am in the majority when it comes to this issue.

I hear you on that one. I have a center console that I have been thinking about. The trick is to get it to form in the panel bender I use. OR I could cut everything with slits and have it hand form. Then It would need covering to finish. I have been sitting on this one for a year. It will be very time consuming to figure out and kind of pricey to iron out. If I can get enough responses I will pursue.
