Because of the plywood base underneath where the liners go there isn`t any room for the outlet to go in front. And if there were a void there only the tall ones would be able to use it because the fronts of the shorts aren`t that tall. Mike

Received my cupholder/armrest today (deep version)and I am very pleased with the workmanship and overall quality. It's a four star product that offers an outstanding,great looking and practical add on for any Fiero. It really upgrades the look of the interior. One of the best new products out there.
