I have an 86 GT that I swapped a 3800SC Series II into that I need lines for. The twist is that the 3800SC went from a 2002 Bonneville into a 93 Bonneville then to me so I don't know for sure which compressor it has or if the fittings are the same on the compressors. I am using a reprogrammed 2002 ECU so I would need the pressure switch and will be replacing the o-rings and dryer to use R134A. If you are still making them, I would like to have a set made. I can PM more detail and pictures if you like. |

I have several to make this week but I'm hoping to get them all shipped by this weekend. Send me a picture of the hose you have connected to the compressor and I'll be able to tell if my normal manifolds will fit. The prices and details are still the same as they always were. See page 1. If you can send me the Fiero side of the hose as a core I'd appreciate it. I'm running pretty low on them. It will also save you $30.

I'm relieved that you are still making them and hopeful that your manifolds will work with my compressor.
Now that I look at my Fiero hose, it seems to be a different version and won't work on my car. It must have come off of a parts car that I had and I can't find the original one from my car. I have attached pictures of the Fiero hose and the compressor. The compressor has a block off plate on it and I'm hoping its still good. Can you use my hose for another build? If not, my buddy has a CNC machine and offered to try make an adapter. Who knows, maybe there is a market for an adapter :-). If you can PM me your paypal info, I will send $180 for the setup with the switch port and we can figure the core out afterward so it doesn't hold you up. Thank you!

That's an 84 hose. There's not much demand for them but I'll still give you $30 for them. There's not much "supply" for them either.
Is the compressor a Series2 3800 compressor? Do you know what the donor car was?
More than likely my normal set will be perfect but the more info you have the more sure we can be. Your car's not an 84 I assume...

Ah, 84... now I remember... I have some parts from my buddies shop where they put a Lambo kit on an 84 Fiero chassis and they dropped in an 88 2.8 cradle. That must be where it came from.
My car is an early 86 GT with the Muncie 4spd. Now I wonder where the one I took off went.

2002z28ssconv;
Do you also do A/C hoses for a 3.4 DOHC swap? I have a new connector that goes to the A/C and the connectors that go to the frame lines but need to get the lines between built with the High pressure switch installed.
I also have two other A/C lines: - one for 86 and - one for 87 4 cyl that would come as cores
I thought the 87 4 cyl would work against the 3.4 DOHC compressor but it does not.
Thanks much Don[This message has been edited by 355Fiero (edited 04-10-2017).]

Thank you so much 2002z28ssconv!!!
I had the opportunity to install your fantastic AC Lines into my 2004 GTP L32 Fiero (with no fitment issues) last week in New Jersey...just in time for my car to be loaded into an enclosed trailer down to Sunny South Florida. The car came off the trailer to ambient temperatures in excess of 90 degrees and it was awesome to hit that AC button and have ice cold AC for the very first time in 13 years of owning the car!
Excellent craftsmanship with great communication and fast shipping.
Thanks again!

I can do the 3.4 DOHC too. The only thing I need to know is the length of the hoses and what angle the connector is at when it attaches to the 3.4 compressor.
If you can send me those Fiero lines for core that would be fantastic. I just have one left right now.
Send me an email and we can discuss how to make sure they get twisted in the right orientation. I might be able to find a 3.4 DOHC in a local salvage yard and that would help too. But I'm sure we can succeed. My gmail is chjesthe@gm....
