The device did not work for me.

I still get the "phantom wipe" when get is in ignition and turned.

I'll post pictures below, but i'm fairly certain that I did it correctly.

I made sure the connections were legit....Any suggestions?

You have a faulty ground. Move the ground on the device to the ground screw at the bottom of the blower as in the pictures below.

THE SILVER SCREW ON THE BLOWER MOTOR IS THE ONLY CORRECT GROUND CONNECTION

Installation is finished.

I made the same mistake when I hooked mine up. The blower motor has a thick coat of paint and the screws that hold it go into plastic so there is not a good ground connection. Once I moved it to the metal screw that is in the picture it works perfect, taught me to follow directions more closely. It took me less than 15 minutes to install the second unit in my friends car. This thing is great because it saved my windshield from the groves that the wiper makes when it repeatedly dry swipes. The wiper switches are not made anymore plus they require special tools to take off the steering wheel and lock plate and it is a LOT of work to replace the wiper switch. I bought a used wiper switch from eBay and it had the same problem so if you get a used one try it before you take the steering column apart. You cant beat this device for $25 and best of all no more annoying wipes, it was driving me nuts.
