Popped the mold off of the Notchie decklid w/scoop today. Started working on the inner structure to make the mold for it.
Also laid up another louver to bond to a Notchie decklid for the next part. No photos yet...

paul,
quick question ( and a free bump)on your site hood vent v2 appears to be offered in a full hood. are those new hoods you make or modified used hoods?

They will be completely new hoods. I'll make both the skin & inner structure, & bond them together (a lot better than the factory did!). Everything will bolt up just like the factory hood, but it will be lighter.
I haven't made the full mold(s) yet, but I plan to later this week or next week.
EDIT: Once I'm making the parts I'll put up photos of both sides (top & bottom).

BTW: if anyone has old busted up hoods & decklids I can use the metal parts out of them. I can't pay much ('cause these parts already take so much of my time & materials & I'm trying to keep the price down), but they're worth a few bucks so that I don't have to fabricate them for the parts I make. I'm talking about all the bolt mounting plates & the steel plate from around the latch. You have to split them apart & drill out the rivets to get them out...  (or just break them out of the 'glass & I'll drill out the rivets later)
