I had totally forgot about one of my favorite mods to this GT, the sliding rear window in that second to last shot reminded me!

That looks much classier than the fuzzy carpet.

I love it! Great mod.

I just joined, as I'm hoping to pick up a Fiero for a build project, and this thread was the first I read.
This noobs' mind is melted. Read all 17 pages. So much information. So much win. Such a nice car.
Now I want to go out and buy a Fiero RIGHT NOW. Which is a problem, as it's 12:40 AM and I lack the funds anyway. Soon hopefully.
Ski, your build is an inspiration and just all around amazing.

Thanks, it is great that it is still appreciated and that it is out there being driven and shown by Rpro

I got an idea today to dress up the under-hood area a little. If you've read this build thread you probably know that this car has a removable rear window and a pair of metal strips to hold it whilst in stow. They were painted black and peeling quite badly, so I decided to strip the paint off them and polish the bare aluminum to a high lustre. The results were so pleasing I believe I'll go one step further and have them nickel plated.

I am Quite new to these wonderful machines so this may be a stupid question but do all of the real windows come out or just the fastback? I didn't even know they were removable.

Haru,

None of the Fieros came with removable rear windows. This is a custom job that you can read about in this build thread.
