Hmm. For some reason in New York, every car (including the Fiero) must have functional rear defoster heat strips on the window. I could always hook it up to existing defoster switch.

Yes. Archie and I discussed this last week. Archie corrected me about masking off the lower exposed area using darkened window tint. He said that it would block the rear view so that idea was tossed and he's going to cut' n glass a piece in the area underneath the glass (on top of the cut trunk section).

Curley, that car is just flat out SICK!!!!! I can't think of a single thing that I don't like about it. I hope you don't mind, but I may have to "appropriate" a few of the design elements into mine as things take shape. ------------------

LOL, I think you should hook it up...
It's the law in NY. My Proud-1 was a NY car and came with a functional rear window defogger. I actually liked it, I found that in the humid climate of Houston, the heat from the engine would fog the window. I lost my defroster rear window in the chop, and I miss it. I still have the glass though, I might put it on my Indy someday
