We drove up to Terrell, Tx, May 31st, to pick up an 87 Duke from Jim East. I have had a problem getting my PIP to upload till today. Thanks to Jim and Mike Parker for helping me load it all up.

My 134a has leaked from my AC system. I had put some UV dye in when I got the system going about 3 years back. I added one can of happy juice and it was workig pretty good. An hour later it was not cooling again. Got up this morning and went into the garage before sun up. The smaller of the two metal lines connecting to the condenser had a leak. I didn't need the UV light to see the leak spot.

I removed the front bumper cover, The lines were good and snug, but not tight. Repair done. I'll get me some Happy Cold Juice one day this week. I am gonna leave the bumper cover and hood off of the car until I can make sure all is well once again.

I had removed both the hood and the front fascia to replace the 'O' rings and tighten those two connectors. Added the 134a and rechecked for leaks. All looked good ,so back on with the hood and bumper cover. Took me a 15 mile trip. AC cooled real good again.

Picked these up yesterday and put them on my 88 :


Had to adjust my parking brake so I had access to the AC compressor. This is the florescent dye. The two case halfs have a leak.
