Well I just spent the last hour or so catching up on this thread. Still impressed with all the work that you have in this car Joe! Once again, I am inspired to motor on. I have the 2.8 out of my newly purchased 86 to repair some broken exhaust bolts in both heads. I ordered a RD drill jig. I hope it works - but if it does not, a 3.4 / 4T60 will be the plan. I will use this thread as a guide. I may have to call on your experience to get her done. Sent you a PM regarding the rest of the T Top parts.

I have never driven a 2.8 Fiero. I am impressed with the power that this 3.4 has. A 4T60 would be a good transmission for these cars. The El Paso crew did one in your shop?
Save the crankshaft sensor to fill that hole. Wish I had saved mine.

My friend Trey was going to use one of those on his 3.4. I'm going to try to talk him out of it lol

Glad to hear it Joe. Going to enjoy driving it for a while or dive into the T-Top swap?

I have things to do before I cut out the roof. Door hinges etc. I am hoping to do this pretty soon though.

Good to see you last weekend. Enjoyed hanging out with Cathy while you and Jim worked.
