Great project! You have given me some great ideas. I have read through this thread a couple times and cannot find the tire and wheel specs. Am I missing them? Please post, because I really like them.

Edit: Thanks Dre, I missed it. I am building a Murci replica and an 88 right now, and I am considering selling the murci and focusing on the 88 after seeing what can be done. Great job again guys!

mram10: page 4...

"There has been interest on the specs of the offset of the wheels and the size of the adapters.

The offset of the Axis wheels 20 X 10.5 inches is +35 and that was for a Nissan 350Z 5x114.3mm.

Adapter is 5x100 to 5x114.3 and the thickness I have ordered was 1.50"

and Car-Lo also added:

"Thanks Lincoln for helping out, just adding bit more info...

AXIS MATRIX

Front: 18X8 Michelin 245/35ZR Rear: 20X10-1/2 Michelin 325X25ZR"

I think they are the ones...

Not to good, I have to grind off Pliogrip today and fiberglass cuts

Thanks. I was thinking of the best way to place a S60 windscreen in when i do my next car. That windscreen is 90cm about 35.5" from top to bottom in the center. That will place the bottom about where the hood lock is on my car, if you know what i mean.
How far did yours reach?

It's 37-3/4" beyond thunderdome

Can you imagine how well the Fiero would have sold if the Pontiac designers had made it look like your car Carlo? Even though I love the original design, I always felt that it should have been a bit mor "cab forward", with a shorter front and longer rear. Also the original is far too high, with too much space in the wheel wells. Your design seems to be taking care of every one of my peeves! Good job mate!

Getting ready to fiberglass hood (Pliogrip didn't do to well ) got hood bent and curved pretty good
also glassed in headlight openings

Clynt is alway's checking

Cutting old Mazda bumper to separate bottom wing to visualize only (we will fabricate new wing)

Visualizing front wing, I'll be extending hood about 2-1/2" to 3" with new Mad Max design

How well did your resin stick to the black paint around the the areas that you re fiberglassed? I had issues with my hood when it came to that so I ended up re grinding down to bare glass to get it to stick better.Especially around the headlight doors, I also had to bevel the top and bottom of the door and hood around the opening seam in a hour glass sort of shape to lock in the headlight door. so it can't flex and crack out the fiberglass. just a thought for ya to consider.

Thanks for the tip if you look closely I did grind all the fiberglass areas and I also used SMC resin, I haven't finished the face side of hood yet, but will do that as you said.

Thanks again for keeping a close eye on this clown, he did butcher up too many hoods
