Used around a gallon of diesel cleaning the transmission after work today. I ordered new seals and gaskets for the two pans. Ordered a new two prong normally open 3rd gear switch. Pricey, $23.00. I'll put up 'clean' picture sometime tomorrrow.
Page 13, neat!!![This message has been edited by josef644 (edited 01-12-2013).]

Hey Joe!
Just got caught up on this thread. What a nice car it has turned out to be. That's a lot of work you have done. Hope all is well with you and yours. I'm back in the Fiero game - just picked up an 87 T Top with a Duke/Auto. The duke is coming out for a 3800SC. After spending the last hour or so reading your thread, I am inspired.

These are the axles I used on my Formula for the 4T60. I looked I didn't see if you've covered that already. The rebuilt NAPA p/n 95-9178 and 95-9208 axles. From 89 pont 6000 w/ light duty brakes.

I purchased these from RockAuto a few months back.

Got these delivered today. Gaskets and seals:

I used the 3rd geat pressure switch from the Fiero Store for the 125C. It is the correct one to use.[This message has been edited by josef644 (edited 03-16-2013).]

Are you gonna rebuild the trans yourself?
I had my buddy do mine, he put in stronger springs for the shift solenoids and it felt solid when it shifted.
Mine got 26 to 28 MPG. that was after I put all the coolant temp switches and thermostat back to stock. You're in Texas, are you running cooler stuff for the heat? Mine was bought in Phoenix and built in Las Vegas. When I brought it back here to Illinois it suffered horribly. The thermostat was drilled out and switches were the coolest you could get so the computer enriched the AFR to the point where I got around 20 MPG.
At 100 MPH I was running 3 grand on the tach. That was sweet.

Drove to Dallas for the NTFC gathering. Went to Quitman to see my Dad since I was up that way. Got home last night at 9:00pm. Around 550 miles yesterday. [This message has been edited by josef644 (edited 01-27-2013).]

I removed the side cover to access the wires and install a N. O. pressure switch for the TCC. Real clean inside there. Made me happy to see it was spotless. Removed the old gasket and grime on the outside of the pan.
