Looking good Mike, if it were any bigger you might need a shoe horn to get it back into the car. After we get Becca's car on the road we will plan a trip down there to help with whatever is left if you haven't finished lol Thanks for finding my glasses, I did the same thing the previous week and left a brand new pair at my brothers.

It is a tight fit on the Pass side of the car but there is plenty of open room on the DRV side above the trans. I had to move the Pass side frame rail in some to clear the low mount Atl setup I came up with along with a brake line.

Yes sir she is tight. I had to go to south Texas yesterday an finished the front mount. I will post some pictures latter.

Working on the front mount again taking a lot of time.

I have to cut the bolt off it hits the axel.

Getting ready for first test fit. I was hoping with the kit it would just be done but I still have a lotof work to do.

Finding out the alt bracket has to be removed it hits the strut tower.

I removed oil filler and back bracket. Looks like rear pipe is close also.

More problens the Batt tray has to go.

This was it. Next time I get to work on the car
I will strip out the rear engine area and clean it up.

Looking good. Going to relocate the battery up front or in the trunk?

Edit to add (will move it up front) trying to get a day to go work on it. Gotta go to Houston next week. I will see if JScott wants to meet for dinner and visit if he can.

You can flip the Alt mount if your motor came with the stock Alt and use it as a low mount. The lower frame rail will have to be moved in for it to work though. Or you can take the route of using a smaller Alt and coming up with a low mount setup. Using a 99 up 3800 Alt works well as this is what Don K. used on his build and it worked out great. The rear pipe is very close to the firewall so some good insulation will be needed to keep that heat off it. The Pass hinge might have to be removed depending on the height of ur setup and the coolant fill cap. Also the rear pulley on the water housing setup will hit the firewall if not moved in on the setup. I used a smaller pulley plus I moved in the firewall a bit to gain the needed clearance. All in all the setup is a very tight fit and will be a ***** to work on it anything goes wrong...

I was hoping I could use the Fiero Alt and the Fiero AC but Sadly I had to remove the Fiero AC. I did not get any accessories with the Engine. Feel free to post pictures of what you are describing if you want. I was even thinking of a little stretch to make more room in the engine bay.

Would be a shame to stretch it after you have the ass end dialed in like it is. But nothing a little glass work can't straighten out.

I will have to see after I gut the engine bay. Just need another good weekend to make the trip down.
