Yeah. But what are you going to have to do next to top this one? Methinks you've set the bar too high. lol------------------ Whade' "Darkwing" Duck Fieroless (11/18/12)

Time for an update
We've been putting the body together for the last time & working on wiring the door panel controls.
Someone had been asking about the mounting of the seats.
We had the drivers seat out to get ready for the carpeting & to remount the seat controls & here are a few pics of the seat mounting.

We had to put new mounting bosses on the floor.

Seat controls remounted to the front of the seat.

I think that I had already posted that we had swapped in a set of the dual pop up lights.

When we installed the hood we found the most unexpected thing.
The Enterra hood is a fiberglass outter shell & a fiberglass inner shell & uses Fiero headlight doors. When we installed the hood, we found that Enterra had made their hood with the headlight doors 1/2" closer together than stock Fiero headlight door.
We couldn't raise the headlights with the hood on. We had to modify the headlight mountings to move them inboard to where they didn't hit the hood as they were going up.

Why Enterra would make them a half inch closer together, I coldn't tell you.
We made a lever for it & mounted Lisa's new shift knob.

We drilled holes to bring the power mirror wire into the car & did a bunch of wiring work on the PW's, PDL's & Power Mirrors. The power mirror control was bad but we got another one in today. (we'll try is first of the week)
We also got the front compartment battery tray & chrome hold down all done.

And Then Guess What

Cleaning & scrubbing a couple of times over....

Cleaning & scuffing up the plastic parts

It looks like the girl is getting a new dress put on....... don't look under that skirt.

You're welcome.
Before we left the shop today we had it in primer, so tomorrow is the painting day.
Then Monday we'd like to get it back together.

Great minds think alike, when I did mine, I also had to modify my front mount battery box to get the billet Optima hold down to fit. Nice quality product and gives the front compartment a little bling. -Jason
