Got my new condenser today off of the UPS truck. Made in the USA. Don't see much of that anymore.
Here is what a new one looks like. I bought this from jimmyS at WWW.fierofiberglass.com They are on the miscellaneous page

Removed my AC fan so I can remove the evaporator for flushing. I also removed the fan speed resister. It was caked up with leaves. I will vacuum out the AC parts after I remove the evaporator front part tomorrow or Sunday morning.

I removed my evaporator to flush it out. As I was pulling the cover out a ways I found this:

Pulled out a bit more:

And the cover all the way off the car, about 33% blockage:

Nice and clean:

In-line filter added to the fluid line. I am gonna try to get the condenser and radiator back in the car tomorrow morning.

We had a small rain storm, maybe 10 minutes of rain. So I went out to the garage and used the break in the heat. I did the modifications to the upper radiator support to make it fit around my new three core Champion.

I mounted the condenser, and connected all of the under hood AC lines. New 'O' rings on all of those connections. I will add in the old accumulator with new 'O' rings and see if it will hold a vacuum. If not I am gonna have the AC repair shop accross the street from my work come over and use dry nitrogen to help locate the leak. I'll have the car on 10" blocks all the way around so I can scoot underneath looking for the evil gremlin.

Me too! The AC tech across the street is a skinny dude though.

I tightened all AC line connections down this afternoon, and added on the vacuum pump. I let it run for half an hour and closed off the pump hose, and turned it off. 10 minuets later I had dropped to 25 inches of vacuum from just over 28 inches. I am good to go tomorrow. I will add the rest of the under hood items and install my new accumulator. Shoot some good old cold juice into the system.

Radiator installed, top radiator bracket repainted and installed. All AC wiring harness wires and metal brackets installed. Radiator side pieces installed. Metal mount bracket for the front fascia cleaned and painted.

We are having a short rain shower, so I went back out and removed the drivers side inside door panel. Replaced it with a beechwood one I purchased in the mall here a while back. Rain is gone, so I now have steam in the garage!!!!

After installing the new Champion radiator I found the mounting holes for the rubber top piece had the holes blocked for the small push in plastic retainers. I will have to figure out another method of securing it. I mounted the fan in it's spot. There is interferance at the driver side hose. I will just trim some of the plastic away.

Shot of the new radiator:
