When I was looking to see if it would hold a vacuum, it would only pull down to around -22 inches. When I turned off the pump and shut down its line, the 20 inches would only last for 5-6 minuets.

I changed the oil and filter this morning. After that I removed the AC hoses where they connect to the long lines behind the driver's seat area. I installed two new 'O' ring seals there. The two I removed looked just fine to me. I don't think this was the leak. I replaces the hoses with new 'O' rings. I need to install the heat shield back onto the car and put the car back on the ground tomorrow morning.

Got a lot of little things done this morning. Windshield wiper arms back on the car, Heat shields replaced. Painted ten of the black plastic lug nut covers silver for the two front wheels. All wheels back on the ground. Brake line retainer strap put back on the car. I had removed it to get the steering rack out for rebuild. Poured the old engine oil unto the jug the new oil came in.

Alignment shop tomorrow AM.

I got in the car this morning and was headed to the alignment shop. The car was squirrely as heck. I stopped, parked and locked it up. I called a friend of mine who is a good as gold type of mechanic. He explained to me the toe in was giving me fits. One wheel would be going straight, and the other pointed in towards the center line of the car. After work today I drove it the last 3 miles to the front end shop. Once there the tech said the same thing. The drivers side tire was doing some singing at times. When I went over a wet spot in the road, all was quiet again. The car will be aligned tomorrow while I am at work.

My fingers are crossed.

I was able to get the Coupe out of the alignment shop yesterday after work. It handled pretty nice. It was raining, and I only drove it about 4 miles to my house. I will take it for a nice ride after all of this rain stops. I am hoping to take it to Houston this weekend for the Fiero meet , if it is still being held.

I was able to spend some time in the garage working on my windshield wipers. The switch is bad. I am able to get it to work jumping across the wiring. The lever will only make it work if it is held against 'HI' until you release it. It then finishes the cycle it was in and stops. These new switch are expensive!!! Like $80.00 expensive. I am gonna install me a temporary switch for the wipers and washer pump motor tomorrow. I'll look for a two position rocker switch, and a push button for the washer part.
