Spare tyre is flip over (But it's not stock by reason of bigger brakes). Battery is located over it. On photo you can see carton model of battery. Later I'll post photos of battery bracket manufacturing.
The first reason of battery relocation is for better weight distribution. By that reason battery will be Optima Yellow top 75Ah - it's heavy, and powerful.

OK, so my concern is how much work is it going to take to get the spare tire out?
You could mount the Battery under the passenger head light. I have seen this done a few times.
I don't carry a spare, but the Battery box I have allows the spare to mount over the top of it.

Yes, you need to spend some time to get out spare tyre: remove battery, then remove battery bracket, then tyre.
But getting out spare is not frequently situation, so nothing bad.

Hey, here is couple photos about e-brake lever and cylinder.

As you can remember, on my Plazma I will use hydraulic e-brake system.
So it's built using Girling 0,625 master cylinder and modified lever from russian car.

Measurement for bracket design.

Bracket manufacturing moments.

Almost ready

Ready

Hope you enjoyed it!

That's a neat hydraulic parking brake. One question - how are you going to get out of the car after setting the brake? Does it push back down out of the way like the stock unit does and keep the brake on?

No, it doesn't.
When I bought my car there was no parking brake lever unit, so I use some other part.

I hope there will be not big travel of lever to set it on.
And I don't think I'll use it constantly. Casual way you can left some gear selected while car is parked, and car wouldn't move anywhere.

You could probably pull it up slightly first, and then set it fully after you get out of the car.

Here is some news:

Because of Plazma rear arches is much wider when Fiero's the stock fueling pipe is too short, and I has modified it.

One mount of extension tank was broken, so I has repaired it.

I cut part of same material from some other detail I have.

And then I fused it

Ready

More:

Started design of battery bracket

Because stock cooling pipe mounts was rusted to dust, I was forced to make new ones.

Daniel, Welcome !
I am very impressed with your work on this car ! Wow !
You do very nice work !
My rebody project is a DeTomaso replica -
You can see some of my photos if you look at the last 3 or 4 pages
of the Pantera Parts thread in this forum.
The man who makes the kit posted the thread,
but he lets me post my progress there, so the guys can see
one way to assemble the kit he makes.
Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much for high evaluation of my build!
Have seen your photos!
Good work, and very good choice of kit, in my opinion. I like original Pantera very much, think it's one of a most beautiful cars in the world.
So I think your car can become awesome rebody. So believe in yourself, and it will be.
