If you look at the side profile of the car with the bumper tucked in (BTW we like that mod and want to keep it tucked in) if Lisa was to back into something it looks like the rear spoiler would take the impact before the bumper and destroy our new rear deck lid.

if we were to add the rubber bumper blocks and have them stick out just a few inches past the tail we would still have a tucked in bumper but with body & paint protection. what do you guys think? |

OR, you could get rid of the '80's look and cut out the pockets & reglass the bumper.
Like we did a month or so ago.......
