Thanks for the info. I've been trying to figure out how to improve my brakes, looks like I'm gonna go this way!

Any more pictures of the car? Or have you spent the majority of your time on drivetain recently? Looking forward to the finished product.

Still all stock, with many many upgrades in the planning stages.

I'm assuming you have to turn the Fiero rotor down to make a hub like the Grand Am conversion?

I'm not saying I don't beleive you, but it there is 3/4" of clearence to the inside od a 16" rim, a 15" rim is only 1/2" closer (clearence is on the radius not the diameter) doesn't that still leave a 1/4"? Or is the problem with 15s less in the diameter clearence and more in the inside face of the wheel? Yes, I realize I'm grasping here, but I want to keep my 15s for autocrossing so I don't have to by yet another set of rims, and this is definitely a sweet brake upgrade. + for you even if they don't fit inside the stock 15s

Thanks,
Troy

OK, i am definately going to ry this. One more question: what do i do about the hubs? Do i cut down the stock ones?

Thank you, Matt

yup you can cut the rotor off with a mini grinder if you have an old spindle to mount it to

hoping for nice weather tomorrow and will take step by step photos as I replace the spindle and brakes on the pass. side of the project car so you can see how easy it is .

I set the bakes up on a preped spindle and swap the new spindle for the old one
easer to set up off the car when you have te spare parts (ie) cleaning and drilling of the bolt holes
