I haven't posted here in forever but I have to say, it's ABOUT TIME.

My Fiero was stolen/totalled 4 years ago and this thread was kicking then!

NOPE... What you need is to take those insane looking wheels and tires off this blue car. Love #20 black wheels but these on this blue car look absurd. Hope thats not too blunt but man that needs to be fixed bro.

Testing a theory today.

I don't like the painted area behind the wheels and since this area will eventually get roughed up I thought by adding flares or mud flaps might make a soon-to-be ugly area pop!

and it works!

I made a templet and copied the pattern onto the C6 mud flaps (front and rear). I couldn't hold the part close to the fender while holding the camera, but you get the idea. I'll have to do a bit more tweaking, but the part looks OEM and in black. The flaps should accent the rest of the blacked out areas.

I'll have to use a piece from the inners to patch up the area were it's now red. I will now buy two more sets for the other choppers. It would be a nice piece to fiberglass for those who have the MadArch kit.

I had to go back twice to WCF for trimmings, but the weather was nice.

While I was there I saw this:

What don't you like about those wheels? Personally, they are my favorite set of HRE's that madcurl owns.

The blue car is up for a widebody treatment eventually if that's what you're worried about. Madcurl hasn't even began to tweak that monster yet, but might just be my favorite once he does (I got mad love for notchies).

Thanks. Oh yeah, bwy-you are correct.

I hope to have the car looking similar to MotorTV's notchie using the MadArch widebody kit-

As you can see, using the MadArch widebody notchie kit you don't need a chop for it looks good "as-is."

The car's color will remain blue (as-is) using the blacked out HRE 445's. The HRE were on Ebay for $900. I told others about the wheels but nobody (at the time) could envision them being tweaked. The 445's were sent to HRE in CA for tweaking. The wheels were originally 18x8, but were morbidly changed to 18x12(r), 18x8.5(f). The lips are gloss black and the centers are flat black. I hope to continue John Tennay's vision of creating a truely tweaked out 3800SC w/turbo. The only changes will be; the body, seats, wingless, wheels, and re-tweaking of the Norm's front flipper by V8Archie and the Crew.
