Hi! I'm a nice guy from Russia, and here is my Plazma! (Page 30/39)

Still my favorite (and only) Fiero kit I truly love. Glad to see it is still being worked on!

Keep at it Daniel!

Hope you're interested about some new photos of past progress:

As, maybe, you can remember I was bought rims for my Plazma (couple pages past).
But problem it's they're 7" wide. So at front, with my front suspension modification, it will fit perfectly. But for rear wheels it's too slim.
So I bought couple of a new rims. Same design, but other size.
These are 18x9 Rays Volk Racing GT-C face 2.
Some pure JDM style on that American car with Russian soul.

And I have modified front compartment harnesses to shift from 1gen headlights to 2gen.
Some of you told me I need to change all front compartment harnesses to do this, but it's not really truth!
I had complete 2gen headlight units, control unit and connectors. And when I look at wiring diagram I have seen that some minor wiring changes would be enough.
So thats it: 1gen harnesses modified to work with 2 gen headlights:

Hope you're enjoyed it!

Hey, fellows!

Some photos here:

Removed old ball joint and started modify suspension arms. Upper arm is already cut and ball joint displacement plate is installed.

Closer look. Outer side requires some cutting.

Knuckle with new lower ball joint and displacement plate

Upper arm stiffening plate

Construction check

Modify wheel hub to install new brakes

Modified knuckle and caliper adapter.

Parts fitting

Rotor and caliper installed

Car is on the wheels. Fitment is beautyful.

Tie rod extension

I'm glad you're back updating this thread, it's always a pleasure seeing creative engineering and I'm excited to see this finished one day!

Question: will the mod (the notch) to the hub that you made son you could get at the brake adapter unbalance it?

I think everything will be OK!
Don't worry!
Some disbalance on that small diameter wouldn't be noticeable.

Hey, here is couple photos about e-brake lever and cylinder.

As you can remember, on my Plazma I will use hydraulic e-brake system.
So it's built using Girling 0,625 master cylinder and modified lever from russian car.

Measurement for bracket design.

Bracket manufacturing moments.

Almost ready

Ready

Hope you enjoyed it!

Hi, guys!

There was no post from me for long time, so I will post some pictures about things was done for past time.

I has modified stock wiring diagram of Fiero and add some fuses and relays.

Battery moved to the front compartment. But without spare wheel removal.

Made changes in ignition lock wiring.

Fuse and relay block and power harnesses.

Can I suggest that you flip the spare tire over and mount the Battery under it? If you ever need to use the spare tire, you won't need to move the battery.

Yes. And No!

Spare tyre is flip over (But it's not stock by reason of bigger brakes). Battery is located over it. On photo you can see carton model of battery. Later I'll post photos of battery bracket manufacturing.
The first reason of battery relocation is for better weight distribution. By that reason battery will be Optima Yellow top 75Ah - it's heavy, and powerful.
