I am usually not a big fan of complete guage swaps, but once again your ideas are fresh, and tasteful. I really like the pic from the passenger seat. Really looks like a factory upgrade.

At a car show we enterd last weekend they were shooting photos of all the cars against a "green screen" back drop on the side of a building. They offered a framed and matted 18 X 24 photo of your car super-imposed onto a variety of backgrounds of your choice for sale.

That is pretty neat. Congrats on getting to the CZ! Now I have another thread to follow

Could you go into some detail on how you made them? Did you put the plate over the ash tray, or instead of? (I can't tell from the picture)
I'm actually planning on doing a setup just like it.

Not too difficult to make. I cut the bottom out of one of the OEM metal ashtrays with a cut-off wheel on a Dremel and then fabricated an black ABS plastic panel to fit down inside the ashtray snugly. The panel rests on the raised portions inside the ashtray, not all the way at the bottom. The ABS panel was drilled for 2 switches, (Radio Shack) I didn't take any photos of the fabrication, but it's easy to just pull out right now, (nothing wired to the switches), so I'll try to get some pics taken later.
I might mention that the switches from Radio Shack are very nice. They're better made and have higher voltage and amp ratings that anything I've found in the auto parts stores. And they're usually *cheaper* Well worth stopping by a R/S store and browsing through their parts.[This message has been edited by randye (edited 07-15-2010).]

Thank You for the compliment! The taillight panel is from Ken Hines, ("Kahines") website: http://www.kahines.com/ It's a "bolt-in" so you can always go back to stock taillights if you want. I ended up not installing it and instead went with new, (reproduction), OEM taillight lenses from Fiero Store, but re-thinking that now... The round lights are 82' Corvette lights and the Kahines panel is designed to bolt them right in. They're scarce, but you can often fnd the original Corvette lights on Ebay, however there are some nice LED reproduction ones now available, (also Ebay) The original 82' solid red Vette lights are *very* hard to find anymore, but the ones with the clear / white center part in them show up from time to time, it's just hard to find nice unscratched ones.
I may be going back to the Kahines panel and the LED Corvette lights soon.

I had planned on buying one of Amida's new 512 noses for the car, however I just got a very good deal on one of these:

So I will still have an Amida nose on my car soon, just not the new 512 one.
Planning on using the smoked turn signal lights too. I think they will look better with my orange paint than the amber or clear ones.

I also have some very cool and very special new taillights coming soon, but they are currently under "top secret" development I think they will be popular enough that I'm actually planning to offer them for sale.
