Today i started to work on the quarter scoop area and it is coming along good as i am making some scoop pieces out of some flat fiberglass from the old trunk lid
engine man APR 07, 11:45 AM
i took a few pictures of what i am doing in the scoop area as i need to do all the fiberglass / body work to make them look like this is the way it came . the pictures show what i made and the scoop without it and with it .

Thats definitely looking way better, maybe too deep tho? Are you going to put a grille back there, or do the fins start way back there? I know its a real pain in the arse but the time spent now on the little things makes a yuuge difference. Your cars looking awesome

Interesting solution to mounting the door skins. Wish I had thought of something like that.

How much of the body kit panels are mounted directly on or over the Fiero panels? I noticed the Fiero side scoop under the one you're making?

all i did with the fiero panels is trim the wheel opening back about 3 inches then bonded and fiberglassed the kit car body to it

worked on the scoop area today i fiberglassed it and put the body filler first coat i will sand it and repeat the filler and sanding

when you have to hand sand in tight areas it makes you better at applying body filler so you don't have to do as much sanding

Well i am now just going over the body and fixing anything i have missed so i should be putting it in primer very soon
