I look a lot at other cars and some tuning magazines etc. searching for something that could look right on a fiero. there's a lot of wicked stuff already out there....however when you start working on it, it will become something new.

That's the difference! I want people to be curious about what it is, let them guess That's why I tried to mix different "exotic" styles together with the fiero. I could easily have put a 355 nose and tail on but that isn't challenging for me Lot of fiero's around here already have them. The only decal mine will get is some kind of custom logo on the nose.....I will make it unreadable But I must say I have got a lot of respect for the original body....one day I might get myself a stock GT again......and -lower it a bit -new wheels -oh well here we go

edit: gunmetal grey metallic. If it works like I planned.... I saw Black-azz 's pictures and it is close to what I want [This message has been edited by Fie Ro (edited 04-19-2004).]

Yeah let the people keep on guessing.....they'll get it right. And my next project I'm leaving out the Pontiac in the back. So they will really have to guess then.

I was fed up with sanding today so I decided to testfit the new rearbumper. It still needs sanding but I wanted to check whether it fits right... Swapping bodypanels is like second nature nowadays...This took less than 10 minutes including swapping 4 new red lights in the altezza's I had to trim a bit of the mounting area of the new bumper and I drilled the holes for the screws and sidemarkers...but it does fit! It goes well with the rest of the car, it is way better than my first version. The tailpipes will be adjusted to fit perfectly "in" the bumper. They are clamped on now so I can correct them in any direction, when they fit right I will have the exhaust welded and remove the clamps..... I might have to take the bumper off for a few days for finishing but it is the last major mod. At the outside Now it only needs sanding and prepping for paint, cutting the mesh, polishing and clearcoating the mirrors, getting and mounting new dew wipes, getting some custom aluminium trim done, getting a custom logo and badge done, making removable sailpanels (!) and some other work that will pop up..... nothing major..........duh ------------------ 1987 Pontiac Fiero GTR in Progress 1969 Chevy Suburban [This message has been edited by Fie Ro (edited 05-02-2004).]

I can't believe how much work and effort you put in. Props, and I do think you should make molds to sell ------------------ *~ Out In The West Coast Shownin' Off My Bad Habits ~*

thanks, there's indeed soo much work/time involved...my friends already think I don't like them anymore...! But I guess they would like to cruise when it is painted. I am already drawing some new dash ideas to have some fun while finishing the body....I guess I'm addicted...

I really like your rear bumper. You should reproduce that but made slightly differently so people dont have to bond them together, similarly to what fierowarehouse did with there front air damn, it just slides over the stock "ground effect" piece covering it up but blending perfectly making it look almost stock. ------------------ Carbed 2.9 engine build in progress. forged pistons, crane cam, fully balanced, ARP bolts, double roller timing chain and more --Adam-- IM AOL: FieroGT5speed

I havent had a lot of sparetime lately but most of it is spend now on sanding the car and prepping it for paint. Hopefully I get some more time next weeks.... About the subbox: there are a few pictures here: http://members.lycos.nl/fierofiero/html/interior2.html The site is seriously outdated but I am going to build a new site with the new info....... Thanks for your interest
