MinnGreenGT you got that right the porsche transaxle is only 65 lbs and the 425 is almost 220 and I dont want no auto its a sports car not grannies car driving an auto makes me feel ill

Just out of curiosity, why have you opted for a distributor over an electric ignition? This seems like a perfect place for something like the Megajolt Lite:

i love the strech on the fiero, the engine looks mean as hell, i dont know if youre still going to use the porsche trany i didnt read all the pages, but just a though the subaru wrx trany has a 6 speed manual and there is a kit to make the internals stronger the whole thing it probably cheaper than the porcshe oh and there is a kit to make it front wheel drive only that way you lose half the trany and the weight with it. some thing to look at.  ------------------

I never looked at the Fiero as a platform for a station wagon. I will reserve comment on the appearance but I will say that it's certainly an original idea. ------------------
