I was never aware of a 2nd book for any Fiero service manual, but there are lots of things I'm unaware of. The thicker book looks like a pretty normal Fiero manual. What's in the 2nd one?
I've seen lots of "BLANK" pages in factory manuals over the years. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm pretty sure you're not actually missing anything.[This message has been edited by Raydar (edited 12-31-2025).]

The second book is the same manual. For some reason it was split into 2 books.

That's a licensed reproduction of the original manual. There are 10 sections to the service manual and it starts at 0. Your first volume says section 0-7. I assume the smaller book says 8-9?[This message has been edited by IMSA GT (edited 01-01-2026).]

The original was one big book. I would assume the reproduction company didn't have a binding machine that thick so the split it into 2 volumes. Either way, it looks exact to the printing of the original manual. The original had about 1320 pages so I bet your's has the same.
And also about your comment of the blank pages, there are a lot of pages like that in the originals so the company that made yours kept the exact format of the original so everything inside looks original.

The book has only around 1200 ish as said on their website. Btw for some reason the volume 2 I got is messed up. The cover isn't centered and is to the right. Luckily Rock Auto said I can return it for free for a replacement. Hopefully the next one I get is centered correctly. These books are already expensive enough. I want them to look nice

As was mentioned, it's likely a reprint edition, if it was advertised 1200 pages, perhaps they didn't count the blank pages (many sections of the book rely on the full area of 2 pages together for diagrams etc. So to keep things ordered sometimes a blank page is needed to let the next thing be a 2 page chart or diagram). Either way that looks as it should, my dad has a manual (either his old Cutlass or his grand prix) that was printed in 2 just like that. Don't expect it to be perfect, I'd imagine the cover is thinner paper than an original edition, I got an 85 Fiero owners manual from the Fiero store and the cover on it to was off center, and seemed really thin. It is what it is.

I do have another question. Do you think I should Instead get an original one that is a single book. There are a few on eBay that are in pretty good condition for around 100. I would rather have it all be in one book but at the same time having a brand new one is also nice

I wouldn't, the extra 50 dollars could be spent on a few things that your car actually needs haha.
