Fercego Plastics seats (Page 1/1)

I'm new to the Forum, having purchased a '87 5-speed GT w/ 54,500 miles in June (previously owning a '87 SE back in the late '90s) I have dumped a small fortune into it so far for SS exhaust, new clutch, and four corner brakes & shocks/struts. But that's not the topic...so...

I popped for a set of the Fercego seats from eBay after inquiring if these indeed were all that was needed aside from upholstery, the recliner mech, and the adjuster/mount rails. They were quick to respond to the affirmative. They seem to be very high quality - proper shape, firm foam.

I have a Mr. Mikes upholstery kit on-hand, but will likely take the entire project to an auto upholstery shop.

Welcome to the forum. I made a post about these when they became available but I believe you were the first to buy them. I'm sure people will have some questions since these seats seem to be a very nice replacement. I'm glad Fermin has taken on some of the much needed parts for our cars.

Those seats look good . The only question that I have is will they hold up under the intense summer interior heat in a closed car that can cause temperatures to rise to 140*F /60*C ?

Foam is thesame material as the OEM and as long as the cover take the high temperature the foam will be fine thank you for the question.
