Old plastic fasteners for wiper motor/linkages panel (Page 1/1)
John W. Tilford NOV 19, 10:39 AM
Please see the indicated [evidently push-in] fasteners on the forward edge of the panel covering the wiper motor and associated linkages. Old plastic. I'm afraid they'll break and I'll have no replacement source. Need to get the panel off to diagnose and fix "click-click" windshield wiper noise.

Advice?

As always, thank you!

You can find those at any car parts store or even Amazon - come in various sizes. Common parts used on near every vehicle on the road.

They are usually called, Xmas Tree Retainers Clips

Mickey!

So not only am I totally ignorant regarding fasteners but now have no excuse whatsoever to delay popping them things out and fixing the wipers?

I'm on my way to town now . .

Thank you!
