Just rebuilt my headlight motor on an 85’ fiero using Rodney dickmans rebuild kit. We know the motor is getting power because we can physically see sparks when the circuit breaker is manually pushed down. The headlamp actuator connection has 12V going to it at all times, on and off. When the lights are turned on, it goes to 0V and then goes back to 12V when the lights are fully upright. I’m super lost here and any help would be awesome

Feed 12V power directly to the headlight motor. If you can make it go into the up and down positions then the problem is in the wiring, switch relay or control module. If you cannot activate the motor by applying direct power then check the motor switch contacts or the motor itself. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite.
