I need nuts or bolts for 3 things on my 86 Fiero V6. What is the size for the oil dipstick tube to hook it to the engine, negative battery cable to hook it to the engine, and the size to hook up the ground strap to the frame. I have no idea which are bolts or nuts so ill need those with the sizes. I'll go to ACE later to buy these once I know the sizes needed.

thanks for helping me find those 2. ill have to buy them on Tuesday when ACE is open. If you can get the ground strap size too then let me know. infact still have to buy a ground strap. the ones at Bomgaars were different types. gonna have to go online. would go to NAPA but everything is so overpriced

I suggested in another thread about Rodey's Chassis to Motor Ground Strap and it is $7 plus shipping...

I saw that but was a bit confused. in the photo there's 2 types. I wanted the copper coded one cuz it looks nicer but didn't see a option to choose, or do I get both wires on one is for something else

hello so I do have a problem. we got the bolt today, still need to put it on. But I don't have the nut. NAPA said that nut size doesn't exist. are you sure you measured it correctly. It was M11x1.5

another problem I'm hoping you know. so we got the bolt in but the nut would be useless. the stud to the negative is missing. i talked to my dad tho. instead of getting a stud and a nut why not another bolt. if you can get the size for the studs then we should be able to get bolt to fit it

If there is no available stud to use on the engine, just bolt the negative battery cable to an unused tapped hole (of a similar diameter to the original OEM stud) on the head or block.
