how to remove lock/unlock switch from drivers inside door latch? They have a couple of very good pictures that should lead you to how to unsnap the switch from the panel. FYI, if you need to replace it, it's a very generic GM part available from Rock Auto or Dorman via Amazon. Oh, if you need to replace it, get one with screws to mount the wires. Some don't as this item had a pigtail plug in most applications and the replacement pigtail/plug is not available. PS there is a right and left so be sure to order the correct side. richard in nc AUG 04, 12:44 PM i cut a groove across the back with a rotozip.that weakened it enough to grab the middle terminal and pull it out.i think gm would just replace the whole plate when replacing the switch.there was no way to release it.
