Wiper fluid not working (Page 1/1)

Ok gang. Here's the skinny. No washer fluid. Replaced wiper motor, board, and fluid pump. Pump will only work when board is removed and pluged directly to motor bypassing control board. Obviously this is not ideal for intermittent wipers or anything as it's just... !!!!!! I've replaced everything, just got a new board today from the store and still no love. unless i bypass the board. I have 2 working pumps this way.... WTF can i possibly be missing???? And I'm praying i don't need to get out a voltmeter as thats just not... a thing. I'll crank a wrench, grab the PB Blaster etc... but just not good at electrical trouble shooting. But, however, i need some fluid operation so tell me wtf to do!!!! Thanks in advance!

Very good chance the column switch is faulty. That happened to me. I purchased a replacement column wiper switch for an ‘86 S10 to fix mine but that was some years back. You could put a momentary push button contact under the dash to activate the washer pump.
