a while back someone posted on facebook claiming S10 blazer knuckles fit on 84-87 Fieros, out of curiosity, I picked up a knuckle and scanned it, and a stock Fiero spindle scanned them with my Einstar 3d scanner, I aligned the two scans approximately on the plane of the lower ball joint bosses, approximately on the kingpin axis since the lower ball joint will determine ride height, provided below is a brief overview of my findings, what I can say without question, is that these to not fit directly, and will require other car modifications, and may have adverse handling results.
The good:
-these would lower the car about 1/2"
-allows for a couple of different wheel patterns
-drop spindles are also available.
-kingpin inclination axis is close to, if not the same as stock.
the bad: -stock early Fiero ball joints are completely out of the question, in the pictures you can see stock ball joints hitting the spindles, and the tapers aren't even touching.
-the tierod boss is moved significantly, I haven't analyzed this for bump steer or other issues, but I suspect it wouldn't steer nicely
-the upper ball joint is over an inch higher, which will change roll center and camber characteristics.
-depending on the thickness of the brake rotor, the wheel mounting surface is ~5/8" inboard.

I had a C7 knuckle, so I scanned it and overlaid it in the same position as the S10/Fiero spindle, not suggesting anything, it's just data.

I read this on Farcebook. Didn't realize that was you.
It does, however, make me wonder how the S10 knuckle would work on an 88. (Yeah... I'm a PITA. ) Pretty sure that has already been checked, due to the front hub madness, but was also a "no go".

the '88 knuckle isn't my scan, but it's way off for that as well.
