The 3.4 DOHC has been an engine swap choice for some but little has been published in detail on how exactly this swap is done. While not my engine swap choice this engine has been dyno tuned to over 250HP and near 400HP with a turbo. We occasionally see these swaps at the shows.

Thanks! I still have one of these on the back burner, but I'll happily accept any info I can find.

With very minimal mods and tuning the 3.4 DOHC Fieros are running mid 13's in the 1/4 mile. That is comparable to 3800SC performance. It doesn't seem to be a very popular Fieros swap probably because of the stock 215 HP rating but from what I have read the engine was not optimally tuned as GM was concerned with transmission strength and possible waranty claims. ------------------
