What's your goal? Completely replace the stock tank or supplement it?
Never ever put one in the rear trunk, it is a crush zone surrounded by hot exhaust, and it will negatively effect the weight balance. I put a 5 gallon fuel cell in my front trunk (spare tire delete), to supplement the main fuel tank, it has a seperate pump to transfer it's fuel to the main tank. There's a bamboo plywood floor with a compartment underneath on either side of the fuel cell (what's left of the spare tire tub), room for a can of fix a flat, a quart of oil, a patch kit and a tire compressor, all hidden but accessable.

I was thinking about fully replacing it as mine is quite rough and full of pin holes and full of rust ------------------ Rylee Cooke
