Hello, I'm doing several projects to my car and while I have the dash apart and center console apart, I decided to work on the temp gauge fix. I swapped the wire from 11 and 13, which were light and dark green, and nothing happens when I turn the car to run or on besides the speedometer. No lights turn on, tach does nothing. I disconnected and reconnected the plugs. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Disregard, too many projects going on at once and I got that resolved. I mistakenly left the fuse out. Doh! But the temp light isn't coming on. I tried with a known good bulb, and I've swapped the wires at the temp sensor on the engine multiple times.

at the sensor on the engine ground one wire at a time with the key on. the gauge should pin to full scale with the gauge wire and the idiot light should come on with the other wire grounded. If this is not the case then you have some other issue.

Thank you, I'll give that a shot. At least the gauge isn't pegging anymore, but one of the previous owners removed the temp sensor wiring plug so I need to find one in the junkyard. The pins were covered in electrical tape and just hanging out on the sensor pins.
