Where am I supposed to buy 88 front upper ball joints from...? (Page 1/1)

All in the title. I'm ordering adjustable control arms from WCF, they say I need an 88 upper ball joint, no big deal except they're not in stock or even LISTED anywhere. I can get them from Rodney but that's clearly not a long term solution for anyone else. Is there a secret place to buy them from once he runs out...?

i hate these but its the only ones i can find. get me dimensions and ill go harass qa1 again to have them make stronger ones that dont hit the spindle at full droop

oh btw dont expect good things from wcf. i installed a custom exhaust from them on a white 86 gt and it fit WORSE than the ocelot kit, i had to trim 8 inches and reweld the inlet at a different angle to even fit at all.
so be wary of quality control and dont trust that its gonna fit right or be safe

Rodney is going to be the best source to be honest. Either stock up on his or you can still get them from the Fierostore at the moment. https://www.fierostore.com/...%20%2088FT&d=339&p=1

god those are expensive. I guess you get that on 1 year only suspension. Talk all the **** you want on 84-87, at least you can still buy every part on rockauto.

Buying a full exhaust never works out from anyone. Too much variation in each car for some reason. Ran into that problem with a summit racing exhaust for my truck. I've had decent luck so far with WCF, they're just really slow to ship which can get annoying. But my front hubs and stainless lines turned out really well.

im very well aware but it also shouldnt hit everything and be physically too big to fit in the stock location when he mocked it up on a fiero. yeah maybe with a cut trunk it would.
regardless be mindful of quality and the cheapest way to get the 88 stuff is to just order the full front end kit ive noticed. i know its not a fiero only part for the mounting point

based on eyeballs alone i think the 87 rear balljoints are the same as the 88 front uppers minus the taper and leck of threads but for ordering ones from qa1 that shouldn't matter. im gonna have to order some and check. let me know what your backplate measures at
