Connected battery and heard a pop.... (Page 1/1) Tappy350 FEB 14, 01:26 PM Im working on my sbc swapped car that hasn't been together in 10-12 years now. It's a carbed motor so wiring isn't very complicated but still not dumb simple in the way I cut up the harness back in the day. Anyway is there anything that would cause an audible pop in the engine bay then second power was supplied? Battery is in the front so couldn't locate exactly where the pop came from. I believe I have everything hooked up as it was when running (that does not mean correctly) but again that was awhile ago.
