Working on dropping the cradle for a v6. I have the tension adjusting bolt disconnected, but I’m having trouble separating the e brake line. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find the best way to disconnect the ebrake. Manuals and internet searches have not helped.

Meant to add this. I’ve been at the e brake for a while. I don’t see a good way to disconnect it on the caliper side, there seems to be zero clearance.

Spray it with penetrating oil... but even without that, you should be able to pry the outer casing open a bit with a slotted screwdriver, and then just slide the cable end to where it needs to go to remove it from the casing.
[EDIT] There's got to be some slack in the cable as well in order to slide and separate the end of cable from the outer casing... although that's what I thought you might've already done. (Difficult to tell from your description.)

At the parking brake cable 'bolt' which the equalizer nut adjusts the system:
FIRST, spin the nut {5/8” Wrench} on the main cable bolt {Vise-Grip} of the Brake Equalizer to the free end of the bolt at the last threads to slacken the left/right cables.
E-Brake Equalizer (adjuster)

THEN disconnect Brake Cable Connector and parking brake cables from brake calipers and body brackets.
Brake Cable Connector

I’m going to try disconnecting the brake cable connector tonight…calipers are staying with the rotors until the cradle is out. Can I keep the parking brake cables connected to the calipers until then?

The easy way to remove the parking brake cables: *Loosen the Parking Brake Equalizer to the free end of the bolt at the last threads to slacken the left/right cables. *Compress the parking brake springs with a 'door spring tool'

*Remove the left/right parking brake cables @ the calipers *Disconnect Brake Cable Connector
