Hello, Slowly, but surely getting this 87 SE back on the road. Can somebody please tell me where the hose should connect to from this point? Thanks Fiero friends!

That is a coolant hose. the one you are looking for run along the side of the car, close to the pinch welds. These hoses travel up to the radiator. You need a ruber hose to connect the two.

I have the hose circled in blue. The end of the hose should be somewhere above the subframe, pointed out with a blue arrow.

Like Bruhman said... this is the coolant hose, which literally makes a 180 degree U-turn and then goes down and connects to the coolant tube that runs along the under the passenger side threshold.

The problem though is that this coolant tube isn't available anymore. There's a couple of hoses that they sell which they say "fits" ... but it's a horrible fit as it's designed for like 4 other cars. You may get lucky, but the GM specific one is no longer available.

I managed to find a hose kit off of ebay that actually fit quite nicely when I had the duke. Its pretty cheap and was decent quality, I didnt have the engine long enough to know how long it would last, only ran with the duke for a few months before I pulled it.

I dont know about replacements for the metal hose though, I never neede to replace mine.
