Seatbelt Bolt Locations (Page 1/1)

Can anyone tell me what the seat belt bolt locations are?

There are a total of FOUR seatbelt bolts, and... guess what, we forgot to keep track of where they went. We bagged and tagged them, but didn't keep track.

Longest One - The longest of the four seem obvious that they go to the seat belt buckle itself (that mounts to the center fuel tank tunnel)
Shortest One - The shortest one seems to be used to bolt the seat belt mechanism assembly to the firewall itself, since it's the one that takes the least leverage.

It's the other two that I cannot figure out, any idea which one goes at the very top (for the shoulder-strap pivot), and which one goes on the door threshold (for the lap-belt pivot)?

Last question, any idea here I can order a seat belt "spacer" ... I'm talking about the "sleeve" that goes on behind the seat belt buckle before you screw it into the center tunnel. My daughter's drive side was missing one, and I'd like to re-install one. I'm asking because I don't know if this is something I can just easily order new, or if I need to get it from one of the used parts places.

Thank you!!!

Just looked at my 1986 Fiero Body Manual. It's not clear what the lengths should be but from the pictures, the bold that mounts the retractor is all threads up to the underside of the bolt head. The bolts mounting the upper guide loop attachment, and the rocker panel guide loop appear to be shoulder bolts with plastic sleeves to allow the guide loops to move freely. The bolt holing the buckle to the tunnel is a shoulder bolt without the plastic sleeve. From the picture, it doesn’t appear very long and from memory, it's not.

The Retractor Bolt to the quarter panel is a Type 2 bolt torqued to 26-35 ft-lb.
The seat belt buckle bolt to the body is a Type 8 bolt torqued to 26-35 ft-lb.
The Rocker guide loop anchor bolt to the body is a Type 7 bolt torqued to 26-35 ft-lb.
The manual doesn't list a type and torque value for the upper guide loop attachment but I'm assuming they are the same as the rocker guide loop anchor bolt. (Type 7 bolt torqued to 26-35 ft-lb.)

Hope this helps.
