Hey guys new to the group and doing a northstar swap on my fiero chassis that's in my Lamborghini countach kit car. I have the 2.5 harness and the northstar harness and ecu for the northstar. The engine and trans is from a 2004 deville and looking for someone who can do the harness and ecu programming. Any recommendations would be most appreciated.

Love the N*. I hope someone has cracked the ECM needed to run that iteration of it. I believe it hasan oddball reluctor that makes it difficult. My son and I did a 2002 N* swap a while back and there was absolutely no tuning for it so we 2ent with MegaSquirt.

There's not a lot (close to nothing) for the '00-'05 engines in terms of ECM tuning.

Well I've found that there is no peramiters programming available for the northstar 2004 so out comes the 4.6 and installing a ls4 with the 4t60ehd trans from an 06 impala. Who does the harness for them?

You might try Gary Pickhardt or Joe Welsh (olejoedad).

The 2006+ engines should be tunable.

It sounds easier to install a standard missing-tooth reluctor and go from there, versus scrapping an entire engine swap job, but that's just me...

I believe the intention was to do the swap with an auto trans. You could probably get that engine to run with a stand alone ECM but it does jack up the cost. There is probably a lot more info to feed on with the LS4/4T65eHD swap , his secondary choice.------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. He might even be able to get the original PCM to run the powertrain out of the donor car and in his swap chassis, but there's still no tuning available.
I don't think OP is interested in discussion.
