Hello. New here, long time lurker. I have a 84 currently in the middle of a 3800 swap. Is anyone still making harnesses? I contacted James Brown but he's busy. Also red devil river through their website, no response. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Try olejoedad Joe Welch. He may be able to help but the 84 is a tricky rewire. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. I see...What makes the 84 wiring different than 85-87? Automatic transmission by the way.

There is a large electrical connector called the C500. On the 84s it is located on the cabin firewall 85 and up these are located on the passenger side inside the engine bay. Just to the rear of the battery. There are also some differences in wiring at the other main connector, inside the cabin between the seats and under the console. This is the C203 connector.

Thanks for the replies you guys. Maybe it's not so bad with some patience. I might tackle the project myself.
