I have a 1986 gt with a stock 2.8 some days it drives just fine, others it stalls, no check engine light but I do get code 35 when checking for codes. When it happens if I rev it up it only goes to 1.5k rpm then rpms drop and are erratic around 700rpm till it dies, if given gas it dies faster. After it dies it will start right back up no problem, no black smoke and it doesn’t smell rich or lean only happens when warm.

What is fuel pressure supposed to be? Also I plan on replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter and sending unit soon

The actual specs are easy enough to find on the forum, but it's around 40 psi for the V6.
Often, low fuel pressure is not the fault of the fuel pump. You might wish to check out what I've had to say about submersible fuel line hose in This thread.

I’m replacing the fuel pump cuz the sending unit is bad and I’m in there anyway so why not

But what’s weird is at exactly 1.5k rpm it messes up and less it’s fine and it doesn’t happen all the time it’s very odd and if it had low fuel pressure I don’t think it would start right up with no problem
