G'Afternoon, All,
I ordered the paired fuel filler hoses for my '88 GT from TFS.
My searching has not turned up a detailed R&R thread.
It MUST be there somewhere! Can one of you kind folks point me to it?
TIA,
Larry

I've replaced them and recall it was not fun. I recall draining the tank then loosening all clamps on all hoses. Then loosened up the holding straps pulling the old hoses off and pushing the tank back a bit. Getting the hoses back on can be tricky as they are designed to go on together. It takes a bit of manipulation. I also sprayed some silicone in the hose ends to make them slip on easier. You may be able to do the filler hose replacement without all these steps but it seemed more logical the way I did it. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. Thanks, Dennis,
Pretty much what I had feared (and expected!).

Make sure to temporarily remove the heat shield (just four screws) to gain much better access to the back of the tank.
