Neutral Safety Switch install question (Page 1/1)

Hey all,

I installed the neutral safety switch the first time not thinking there was an actual procedure just thinking it was nuts/bolts, and connection the cable.

I since found the write-up from the Ogre Fiero cave and did that yesterday. (http://web.archive.org/web/20151002182331/http://home.comcast.net/~fierocave/nss.htm)

My question is, does the switch just operate (clockwise) in the same sequence as the shift cable? i.e. P>R>N>D>2>1?

Pretty much. Actually 3 separate switches I think...

Exact Wires connect or not depending on "gear."
2 big wires (F G) only connect in P N to allow starter to operate.
2 wire (D E) for BU light(s) power in R
2 wire (A B) for ECM in P N
(Pins)
