Dashboard "Brake" Light flashing intermittently (Page 1/1)

As said in subject. Started a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes it will come on solid, sometimes it flickers on and off, sometimes it's just off. Master cylinder is full and there is no deterioration in braking capability or pedal feel, even in panic stop testing. Pulling on parking brake lever and releasing has no effect, though parking brake hasn't really worked since I got the car a year ago. IIRC, the parking brake switch is not adjustable.

Any ideas, please?

I had the same problem you describe. I used CRC electrical contact cleaner and sprayed into the switch while pushing the plunger up and down. It worked after doing this and it's still working. BTW, before I did this I checked all the wiring and made sure the grounds were good. There's no guarantee this will work for you but it worked for me.

I THINK squeeze then pull the plug near MC to see what is the problem...
That switch is for hydraulic problems and usually only on or off.

Other "switch" is Park Brake handle.
That can do this.
Often cause P-brake cables or rear calipers.
Pull the cable to handle in back of car while helper makes sure handle is full down.
Lever needs some cable tension to keep light off.
